Smoking is being banned from everywhere, but it seems this bad habbit is still as fashionable as ever.
First was Kate Moss smoking on the AW 2011/12 Louis Vuiton fashion show.
Then a couple of editorials with models smoking, Vogue Nippon March; Self Service #34.
...V Magazine #70.
And this week the relaunch of YSL Cigarettes with a controversial promotional script : "Creating a sense of appeal to female vanity and thereby making the woman who chose to smoke Yves Saint Laurent cigarettes more attractive than one who smokes another brand or more attractive than a woman who did not smoke at all."
Is this some opposite trend to the eco-sustainable-bio-healthy trend we are living? What do you think?
I think smoking eludes that nonchalence and mysterious charm. Not that I smoke, or encourage smoking though.
