Fashiontease

My favourite collection for next Winter is with no doubt the one from Givenchy. It catched my attention for his fetishist feeling, the sheer skirts with pantera prints and the glasses and helmets, seemed just out of some catwoman movie; the pinup embroidery on the mohair sweats are a must-have.
The Louis Vuitton collection was not one of my favourites, unlike the setting that was catchy. The mood of the catwalk was around the theme "hotel lobby", with models coming out of real elevators that had hotel porters to open their doors. The icing on the cake was Kate Moss with a lunatic appearence as a mad host around the hotel lobby.
Moodboard for these collections...
Lee Meriwether in 1966 as Catwoman; Bettie Page the eternal Pin Up; Christian Dior around one of his creations.

Bettie Page; one of Banksy's grafittis featuring a maid; Michelle Pfeiffer in "Batman Returns" 1992.
Bettie Page; Roxy Music Disc Cover "For you Plasure" 1973; Carine Roitfeld the former Vogue Paris Editor-in-Chif on last year's Vogue Ball in Paris.
