Menu of the Week nham naaahm

To start "Pan dei Morti", not a good name - bread of the deads, that I tried on saturday in a bakery in Brera. It's a typical cake from October/November, to celebrate the Halloween, Dia dos Finados, Dia de los Muertos, whatever is the name and the part of the planet you are.
This cake is similar to a portuguese one called "broinhas de mel".
One of my breakfasts. Coffee with milk and my mother's fig jam, made from our fig tree in the garden. And my morning readings. Jams and liqours are my mum's specialities, I cannot wait to arrive home and try the new ones.

Look! What I found in my bag!
On friday, to finish the week in beauty....my beloved macarroons from La Durée, my favourites, I'm crazy about them. They were brought directly from Paris by Renata, a friend that I met this year in the master. (Renata I don't know how to thank you.)
Here is it an excuse to go to Paris! (my boyfriend will kill me when he reads this because he tells me everyday that we should go to Paris, before the end of the year.)
