Find the Differences

Do you remenber Cookie-Monster from Season Street ?
For next Winter I spotted some furs that for sure were inspired by the bluish colour of cookie monster. I know that has not been a long time since we left our Winter wardrobe and that I cannot wait to wear all my summer clothes that I'm not using in Milan, but is just a suggestion of colour that was also proposed for this summer.

Welcome Aboard

Marc Jacobs just presented his Resort Collection 2011. A collection that seemed inspired by the uniforms of the 60's and 70's air hostesses. The similarities are huge. The squared shoes and hats are inpired by the aesthetic of the late 60's beggining 70's, the frames of the suits are inspired by Courréges and Pierre Cardin.

Another inspiration was the 60's plexiglass dresses of Paco Rabanne, here a flowery plexiglass dress from 1967. Boho dresses from Ossie Clark and Celia Birtwell of the early 70's, here one of that dresses.

Alentejo - the perfect summer place

On May T Magazine - New York Times , published an article about Alentejo, the Portuguese region between Lisbon and Algarve. An area with "small villages, vineyards and olive " and a coast that is "lush, dramatic and extraordinarily beautiful" was described by the journalist. In fact this my favourite area to go to the beach, where you can rest and recharge batteries with the bluest sky ever, where you can find untouched beaches with almost nobody there. There are also more known beaches with the pefect waves for the surf lovers. The perfect place to get tan, rest and being in touch with the nature.
